Sternberg states...that it is their mission “to discover, transform, connect,” and it is indeed one of her continuing successes and contributions to the arts since establishing Donna Sternberg & Dancers in 1985.
— Jeff Slayton, LA Dance Chronicle
Our mission is to discover, transform, and connect. Donna Sternberg and Dancers (DS&D) uses contemporary dance to build bridges and discover connections between dance, science, and humankind.
Donna Sternberg & Dancers (DS&D) is a laboratory/studio integrating contemporary dance and science. Founded in 1985 the company has worked at the forefront of collaborating with scientists from a wide range of fields.
Our work is brought to life by a dynamic ensemble of visionary artists and collaborators. Meet our Artistic Director and the dancers who shape our performances.
