DS&D CALENDAR

A celebration of artistry and legacy, Thriving showcases original works by mature choreographers who have made lasting contributions to the Los Angeles dance community. This powerful evening honors the creative vitality of seasoned artists and the stories that continue to shape our cultural landscape.

An examination of the collaboration between scientist Devavani Chatterjea and me over many years of working together. including correspondence, conversations and interactive distillation of ideas that will be embedded into an evening-length sequence of previously choreographed dances, weaving through the dances as they discuss their process of collaboration and creation.

Awe & Wonder returns in Spring 2026 with a new theme exploring the intersection of science, movement, and imagination. This annual performance series brings together choreographers and scientists to create thought-provoking, interdisciplinary works. Stay tuned for theme and date announcements coming soon!

Donna Sternberg & Dancers will be holding auditions on Friday, October 24th for passionate, skilled performers interested in joining our creative community.

Our work is physically demanding, emotionally resonant, and rooted in discovery. Ideal candidates are technically strong, comfortable with improvisation, and excited by collaboration across disciplines.

Applicants should be prepared to improvise during the audition.
