DS&D has created over 90 new works since 1985. We create several brand new works each year ranging from site-specific to collaborative projects. DS&D ranges from 4-6 dancers who are hard working technically skilled, dramatic artists. Their input is essential in the creation of new work and they also perform and teach. DS&D is committed to providing them with the best working conditions possible.

DS&D is engaged in community outreach and involvement in a variety of ways. Our lifelong learning program is focused on the belief that the desire to learn is ageless. We offer the opportunity for community members to participate in creative projects, discount tickets to performances as well as offer free public performances, assemble panels of scientists and artists.

Workshops and master classes for non-dancers
The ability to offer our programs and to grow is dependent upon a strong infrastructure. While not sexy or provocative, administrative help is essential to maintain and build a dependable, well run company.
