Amy Oden, originally from Houston, Texas, began dancing as part of a true Texan drill team, before studying ballet, modern, and contemporary dance at the High School for Performing and Visual Arts. She recently has a BA in Dance and Mathematics from Pomona College where she received the Virginia Princehouse Allen Prize for Outstanding Dancing. She has performed works by José Límon, Ted Shawn, Suchi Branfman, Kim Gadlin, Kevin Williamson, and Ronit Ziv, and has shown her choreography at the 2016 and 2018 American College Dance Association Conferences. Amy has recently relocated to Los Angeles and is currently working with Donna Sternberg & Dancers and Pennington Dance Group.
